Inner or outer conch — which should I choose?
Inner conch sits in the round cup of cartilage at the ear centre and wears a stud; outer conch runs along the flat rim and suits a large hoop beautifully. Plenty of clients do both as a matched pair.
How do I sleep with a healing conch?
That is the real challenge — the conch is dead centre of the ear. A travel pillow so your ear floats in the hole, or disciplined side-sleeping on the other side, for the first few months.
Does a conch piercing help with migraines?
You may have seen the "daith or conch for migraines" claims online. Some clients anecdotally feel relief, but there is no solid medical evidence — get pierced because you love how it looks, not as treatment.
