The agreement between you and Homemade Piercings — plain language, applied to everyone equally.

Bookings

Online bookings are confirmed once your deposit is paid. Appointments must be booked at least 2 hours in advance.
You'll receive a booking code — keep it safe. It lets you view, reschedule, or pay the balance of your appointment on the My Appointment page.
Please arrive 5 minutes early. A 15-minute grace period applies; beyond that we may need to reschedule you and the deposit may be forfeited.

Every booking is secured with a deposit, credited toward your service total. Where a service price is below the deposit, the service is paid in full online.
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
The balance is settled at the studio — card, transfer, or cash.

Reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 5 hours before your appointment (self-service via My Appointment).
Within 5 hours of the appointment, the deposit is forfeited.
Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to a new date (per above).
No-shows forfeit the deposit; a new deposit is required to rebook.

Clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with valid ID.
Intimate piercings are strictly 18+; ID is checked at the studio.
Every client completes a consent & health form before the procedure. All information must be true and complete — we may refuse service where a health risk is identified, with the deposit transferred to a new date.
We may decline service for health and safety reasons (pregnancy, certain medications, intoxication).

With your consent (recorded on your consent form), photographs may be taken before and after your procedure for documentation and monitoring.
Use of photographs for educational, promotional, or social-media purposes is optional, separate, and only with your explicit consent on the consent form.
You may withdraw that consent for future use at any time by contacting the studio.

Every procedure includes aftercare instructions. Following them is your responsibility — complications arising from neglected aftercare are not the studio's liability.
Piercings are performed with single-use sterile needles by trained professionals. All procedures carry inherent risks (infection, scarring, allergic reaction, rejection) which are explained on the consent form.
Jewelry included with a piercing is implant-grade as described at booking; changed styles are charged separately.

These terms, together with your signed consent form, form the agreement between you and the studio for each appointment.
We may update these terms from time to time — the version published here applies to bookings made after publication. Last updated: 2 November 2026.
