Common questions
What is a daith piercing?
The daith is the smallest fold of cartilage, sitting right at the entrance of the ear canal. It is the piercing that made "migraine piercing" a trending phrase — though more on that below. It wears a small curved barbell or a snug heart-shaped hoop beautifully.
Is the daith hard to pierce?
It is a tight little spot that needs a precise angle and short jewelry, so success depends on the piercer and your anatomy matching up — some ears fold too deeply for comfortable placement. We check yours first; if the fold is too snug, a conch or forward helix is the honest alternative.
Daith or conch — and what about migraines?
They sit next to each other: the daith is the fold over the canal, the conch is the cup behind it. On migraines — the daith is the one that went viral for it, and while some clients swear by theirs, the evidence is thin. Choose the placement you enjoy wearing; consider any relief a bonus, not a promise.
