Is an upper lobe piercing harder to heal than a first lobe?
Slightly — the tissue is firmer and a touch more sensitive, so expect 6–10 weeks instead of 6–8. Sleeping on it is the main thing to avoid. Clean twice daily with the saline in your aftercare kit.
Can I wear hoops in an upper lobe right away?
We start you on a flat-back titanium stud, which heals cleaner and catches less on hair and masks. Once healed, hoops are fine — and stacked with a lower lobe hoop they look great.
